House Wrap

House Wrap
  • A thin membrane layer which acts as a moisture barrier and allows moisture vapour to move freely thus reducing the potential for condensation
  • Typically 0.03 mm to 0.38 mm in thickness
  • Consists of polyolefin based plastics like spun-bonded (fibres), cross woven (tapes), film (sheets) or a combination thereof
  • Polyolefin house wraps are typically stronger than felt building papers
  • Better durability than conventional building paper
  • Different widths and lengths of rolls available
